San Jose: The Sharks have made a couple more signings, getting the rights to Jochen Hecht and Brian Rolston. Rolston played well last season in the late stages, after being moved from Long Island to Boston. He put up 15 pts in his 21 games with the Bruins. He is still considering retirement but if he does return, he will be locked up for a year at $500k. Hecht has had 3 concussions over the past year, and is a risk of recurring problems associated with this. But his skills are undeniable. He put up some good numbers when healthy. "We are happy to have both forwards on our roster. We will see where they fit in," said the General Manager. Hecht is believed to be in San Jose on a try-out basis, but a deal is in place that could keep him in California for 2 years at a reasonable cap-hit.
