Several defensemen were signed today. Pavel Kubina has signed with the San Jose Sharks, improving their ranks.
Kubina, 35, was signed for 4 years at a cap hit of $1 million per year. This comes as a slight drop in pay from last year. Putting up modest totals last season, Kubina was utilized in a defensive role, blocking shots and laying on the body often.
It is yet to be seen how he will be used by the Sharks.
