Kyle Wellwood has agreed to terms with the Colorado Avalanch. Coming off a career high season, he has been inked for 5 more years. The cap hit is supposedly $2 million per year. This should be seen as a bargain signing considering some of the bloated contracts that have been put out there earlier today.
"We are looking for continued success with our good young core. Kyle should fit in nicely here and provide us with some scoring," the General Manager commented.
Wellwood is hoping to build on a solid season going forward.
