The Edmonton Oilers have committed $17 million to winger Brad Boyes over the next two seasons.
Coming off disappointing back-to-back years, the Oilers had no problem gambling on Boyes. The former dynamic scorer has put up big numbers in his past. Hopefully with a change in scenary (again) and playing with some skilled forwards - he can regain that scoring touch.
Oilers fans are hoping he meshes well with a young team full of speed and energy. Time will tell if this signing is a boom, or a bust.
