What if a player is sent to the minors? Can we have them on our reserve list and call someone else up?

As of now they would need to be sent to your prospect list if eligible or released completely.

I realize sometimes decent players can be sent to the minors after having played 50 games but it's pretty uncommon. Pajaarvi comes to mind for me.
Maybe upping the prospect eligiblity in line with real NHL waivers could prevent this situation even more. Something to look into.
